4TH ANNUAL BURLESQUE NIGHT!
Subculture & Tribal is the UK’s biggest rock club and takes place every Saturday at the O2 Academy in Birmingham and is open from 10.00pm – 3.00am and is just £5 to gain admission or £3/£4 with a freely available flyer or membership card.
At Subculture we try to bring you the biggest names and personalities in rock for you to meet (previous guests include New Found Glory, Funeral For A Friend, All Time Low, Bullet For My Valentine, Chimaira, Hoobastank, Page 3 Girl Of The Year Michelle Marsh, Millencolin & Less Than Jake amongst many) and we make sure everybody that comes has a great night with the best in alternative tunes played by resident DJ’s Dave Juste, Big Jim Booth, Curt Allen, Rob Dickens and Ben Marston. Also, we have tons of swag and goodies to give away so you shouldn’t leave empty handed!

As if that wasn't enough we can now confirm that in Academy 2 we will have live performances by hot new acts Anavris from Glasgow ('unadulterated pop-rock joy' - Rock Sound, 'enveloping cloud of skittish riffs and anthemic choruses' - Kerrang) & 'Day Of The Sirens' (as featured on Rock Sound cover mounted CD) whilst in Academy 3 we will have Dundee based metalcore group Here Lies A Warning (heavily featured on Bruce Dickinson's Radio 1 show - rave reviews in Kerrang, Rock Sound & Metal Hammer) along with awesome hardcore nu-metal band 'I Defy' from Swindon who have recently signed to Metal Blade records.

WIN AN EXCLSUIVE IRON MAIDEN JACKET!
IRON MAIDEN have a new album called 'The Final Frontier' out on Monday August 16th and to celebrate we're holding a very special promo event at Subculture on the Saturday before release. As well as the usual array of freebies such as T-shirts, CDs, DVDs, posters, etc, we will have an exclusive Final Frontier IRON MAIDEN jacket to give away! This is something you can't buy in the shops and it isn't available anywhere else so it's a real collector's item.
Everybody who comes along to Subculture this night will get a raffle ticket to enter the draw to win the jacket. At around 1.15am we will pull tickets out of the hat until we have 10 finalists.
Then nine chairs are put in a circle on the dance floor and a IRON MAIDEN track is played. Each finalist has to air-guitar around the chairs until the music stops. When this happens each contestant has to get their one leg on one chair and assume the Steve Harris bass position. With each round a contestant gets eliminated (winning other promo goodies) and a chair gets removed. The last person with their foot on a chair wins the IRON MAIDEN jacket.

ALL-NEW SUBCULTURE WITH ANGELS & SINNERS NIGHT!
In our continuous quest to make sure Subculture is the biggest & best rock night in the UK we've managed to negotiate a number of changes (for the better) to your favourite rock club. It all starts on Saturday September 4th with the 'new look' Subculture and to mark the occasion we've teamed up with Birmingham's biggest lingerie store 'Angels & Sinners' for a huge night of fun.
There's so much going on we don't know where to start!!! OK, firstly, anybody in lingerie or stockings will get a free shot of vodka just for coming.
To that we've added the 'Ride Of Your Life' which will be free to have a go on all night long. Here's where we find out which of you is the stud you think you are guys or the sex goddess you make out to be girls!! There will be prizes for the longest lasting sexual animals!
Speaking of prizes, we'll have around £1000 of swag from those lovely people at Angels & Sinners to give away during the night including 2 very special top prizes for the meatiest hunk & the hottest babe in (or out of) underwear on the night. As well as picking up a super sexy outfit from the shop the winners will get a full makeover and modelling photoshoot (worth around £1000) and the girl's shoot will be for use in the next Angels & Sinners brochure! This is a chance for one of you girls to be a full on bona-fide lingerie model and who knows where it could lead?!!

4TH ANNUAL BURLESQUE NIGHT!
Our 4th Annual Burlesque Night will now take place on Saturday September 25th and once again we will be having Danny DeMilo's All Stars performing throughout the night on the main stage in a number of sets including a special appearance from our very own Miss Candy Carnival! There will be a free shot of vodka for everybody in burlesque wear on the night to get you in the mood then it's full on Burlesque Party during the night!
